Hero NDC 2024 - Barcelona

"Two Iconic Venues, One Seamless Show"

Full Production, Custom Fabrication & Technical Execution Across Barcelona's Landmark Spaces

As an extended production team for Gravity Entertainment, Crew Collective handled the complete production, custom fabrication, and technical execution for Hero NDC 2024 in Barcelona — managing a flawless transition across two of the city’s most iconic venues.

The Conference: Palau de Congressos

We managed the full production and technical setup for a heavy-duty business conference hosting over 1,000 attendees. This involved everything from custom stage scenic elements built to blend with the venue's architecture, to the massive video systems, trussing, lighting, and audio networks that powered the main auditorium.

The Gala Dinner: MNAC

The evening shifted to the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya — originally built as the Palau Nacional for the 1929 International Exposition. Boasting a grand dome and stunning neo-Baroque architecture overlooking the city from Montjuïc, this space required pristine production handling.

Production Highlights

Custom Architectural Integration

Every single set piece inside the conference auditorium was custom engineered to perfectly complement and align with the existing architectural framing of the Palau de Congressos de Barcelona.

Acoustic Engineering & Audio Craft

The majestic dome of the MNAC creates massive acoustic challenges. We custom-tuned our audio distribution networks to account for long reverberation times, ensuring crystal clear depth for a live performance by legendary tabla player Nihal Singh

Heritage-Safe Technical Execution

Working inside a heavily protected heritage space like MNAC meant creating temporary, non-destructive floor-supported platforms and designing soft, focused architectural illumination layers that highlighted the museum's history without stressing any structural walls.

Behind the Scenes

Executing modern corporate requirements inside high-profile European cultural landmarks demands a strict approach to structural safety. To safely accommodate live aerial choreography in the gala arena, our team engineered free-standing truss towers and self-stabilizing ground rigging grids that required zero wall or ceiling anchor mounts, complying completely with strict venue preservation mandates while ensuring full technical reliability.
Two venues, two completely different energies one team making sure both felt effortless.
